1. Who operates the App

The App and related services are operated by YoungFashionShow, which is the data controller for personal data described in this Policy. For privacy requests, support, and general contact, email info@youngfashionshow.com.

  • Name (as provided in your profile).
  • Phone number (if you provide it where the App asks for it).
  • Password (stored using secure hashing; not in plain text).
  • Role / account type (e.g. client or staff-related access, as applicable).
  • Authentication tokens after login (to keep your session secure).

2.2 Profiles and children

  • Child profile information you enter for event participation.
  • Photos you upload (your profile photo and child photos, including main and additional photos, where the App allows).
  • Event participation data linked to your account (assignments, progress, stages, tickets, and related settings such as meals or rehearsals, where available).

2.3 Communications

  • Content you send in in-App features such as event or group chats (message content and related metadata needed to operate chat).
  • In-App notifications sent to your account by authorised administrators.
  • If you email us or use a support form, the information you provide (name, email, subject, message, attachments).

2.4 Payments

For paid features (e.g. event meal checkout), payment data is processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We typically receive limited payment information (e.g. status, references), not your full card details.

2.5 Technical data

  • IP address and related network data as processed by our servers or hosting.
  • Device and app information (e.g. OS, app version) as sent with requests or needed for compatibility and security.
  • Server logs (timestamps, routes, errors) for security, debugging, and reliability.
  • Cookies or similar technologies on our websites or web views, where applicable.

2.6 Analytics, crash reports, push

The App primarily relies on our backend APIs and standard server logging. If we add third-party analytics, crash reporting, or push notification SDKs in a future release, we will update this Policy and, where required, seek appropriate consent.

3. Why we use your data

  • To register and authenticate you and maintain secure sessions.
  • To operate your account and personal area (profile, children, assignments).
  • To show events, schedules, progress, packing/rehearsal/meal information, tickets, and related content.
  • To provide chat between eligible participants and staff or administration.
  • To deliver in-App notifications from authorised administrators.
  • To process eligible purchases through our payment provider.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To protect security and integrity (abuse prevention, troubleshooting, backups).
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share data with

  • Hosting and infrastructure (servers, databases, file storage for images or documents such as tickets).
  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) for payment authorisation and settlement.
  • Email or messaging providers for operational or support communications.
  • Professional advisers where required, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

If analytics, crash, or push vendors are introduced, they will act as processors under appropriate agreements, and we will name them here.

If data is processed outside your country, we use safeguards where required by law (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention, storage, and security

  • We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
  • Photos, chat messages, tickets, and event records may be kept for operational and legal needs tied to events you joined.
  • We use technical and organisational measures (access control, HTTPS, password hashing, restricted admin access).
  • No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, email info@youngfashionshow.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

7. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data in the App via Profile → Edit info → Edit → Delete account, or by emailing info@youngfashionshow.com.

We will delete or anonymise data unless we must retain certain information for legal, tax, regulatory, security, or dispute reasons. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained where it no longer identifies you.

Where the App is used by a parent or guardian to manage a child’s participation, that account holder should submit deletion requests relating to the child’s data. We may require verification consistent with applicable law.

8. Third-party links

The App or our sites may link to third parties. This Policy does not apply there; please read their privacy notices.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes may be communicated as required by law or in the App.
