Account Deletion Request
You may request deletion of your YoungFashionShow account and the personal data associated with it, subject to the exceptions described on this page and in our Privacy Policy.
How to delete your account
In the app
Open the app and go to:
Profile → Edit info → Edit → Delete account
Confirm twice when prompted. You may need to sign in again or verify your identity.
Via web request
You can email us directly from the address registered on your account, or use the form below to open your email app with a pre-filled message.
What will be deleted
When your request is approved and processed, we aim to remove or anonymise, where applicable:
- Your user account and login credentials.
- Your profile information (name, contact details you provided, profile photo).
- Child profiles and related content you added, where no longer required for legal or operational retention.
- Personal data tied to your account that we are not obliged or permitted to keep under applicable law.
- App-side history and content that does not need to be retained for legal, tax, regulatory, security, or dispute-handling purposes.
What may be kept (temporarily or longer)
This matches our Privacy Policy (including “Retention, storage, and security” and “Account and data deletion”).
- Payment and accounting records — limited data needed for invoices, refunds, tax, and financial compliance (often via our payment provider).
- Legal and regulatory obligations — information we must retain under applicable law.
- Fraud prevention and disputes — data needed to investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or defend legal claims.
- Event-related records — where photos, chat, tickets, or event records must be kept for operational or legal needs tied to events you joined, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Aggregated or de-identified data — statistics that no longer identify you.
Processing timeline
- Acknowledgement: we aim to confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days.
- Completion: we aim to complete deletion (or explain any lawful retention) within 30 days of verifying your identity, unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances.
If a parent or guardian manages a child’s participation, deletion requests for the child’s data should come from that account holder; we may ask for verification as allowed by law.
